The XDrum hand drums feature a round plastic frame and are each fitted on one side, as is typical for frame drums, with a natural drum skin. The depth of the wine-red plastic frames is 7.5 cm each. The set includes three drums with different diameters (8", 10" and 12"), tuning keys, and a matching nylon carry bag.

The frame drum is the simplest type of hand drum. The tone is produced by striking the skin briefly and sharply with fingers, one or both palms, the fist, or a beater. The closer to the frame you strike, the more the sound changes.
