The Primary series instruments combine SONOR's focus on sustainability with high-quality sound for use in music education. Both the birch plywood used for the resonance boxes and the wooden sound bars made from African Pao Rosa are FSC-certified and come exclusively from sustainable forestry. As with all Orff series, the wooden surfaces in the Primary range are finished with ecological Proterra lacquer to ensure safe use across all age groups. Furthermore, the bars of all mallet instruments feature printed staff lines to support music learning and teaching.
