Whether You’re a Beginner, Switching Player, or a Pro: These Bongos Will Delight You!
Thanks to premium construction and the professional tuning system, the Bongos Pro cut a fine figure on any stage. A timelessly beautiful instrument for home, on stage or at your next summer party. The shells of the XDrum Bongos Pro are finished with clear lacquer that showcases the natural wood. This elegant, light design clearly sets them apart from the usual run-of-the-mill offerings.
Ideal Companion
Bongos are the perfect instrument to dive into Cuban sound worlds and to develop a strong sense of rhythm while having lots of fun. They also provide a refreshing alternative for experienced drummers. Bongos are so compact and handy that you can easily take them to any session.
Professional Tuning System
Thanks to the special tuning system, which works without drilling into the wood, the XDrum Bongos can fully unfold their sound. The heads are tuned via two tension rings that can be conveniently adjusted from the underside. In this price range, such a pro system is extremely rare.
Powerful Heads
High-quality natural heads guarantee optimal sound without compromise. They also deliver a pleasant and musical playing feel.
Practical Accessories
A tuning key is included. By slightly tightening or loosening the tuning screws you can adapt the pitch of the bongos to your personal taste. A practical pouch for the key is also supplied.
Bongo Stand
The XDrum bongo stand provides extremely secure stability even under the toughest stage conditions thanks to its large base radius and three non-slip rubber feet. The top mount features a swivel joint with a gear ring so you can precisely adjust the instrument's angle to the situation. Once the desired height is set, the memory clamp ensures quick and secure assembly of the tripod. The bongos’ connecting wooden block is simply clamped into the stand, while foam rubber pads protect the wood from scratches. An additional support can be clamped under the drums to prevent sideways twisting during forceful playing.

The tension rings on the drums are not one hundred percent round and show a slight misshapenness - but this does not affect the sound, but disturbs the eye at most.
The connecting wood between the two bongos is very imprecisely worked, here I fear that this must be replaced once. However, the simple screw connection allows this.
Conclusion: Certainly not a perfect instrument but very usable.
