The Meinl Sonic Energy Octave Steel Tongue Drum is crafted from high-quality stainless steel. It features a central bass tone in the middle, surrounded by eight additional tones. These eight tone fields each consist of two tongues that produce sound in two octaves. This creates a wonderful, meditative sound similar to that of a handpan.
