Harmony and Power - The Wind Gong with the Flower of Life!
The Meinl Sonic Energy Wind Gongs are traditionally handcrafted in China using a special bronze alloy. These gongs are also known as Feng or Sun Gongs. Their shape is almost flat, which allows the gong’s vibration to spread extremely powerfully while maintaining a long sustain. The sound character is predominantly deep, and when played more forcefully, it beautifully unfolds with wavelike overtones.
Each gong comes with a mallet tuned to the gong size and a cover. The Flower of Life symbolizes the origin of all things through so-called sacred geometry. The interplay of numbers, shapes, and vibrations belongs to humanity’s oldest myths. The flower represents the quest to connect with our origin and understand ourselves.
