Schlagwerk HRS7 Hand Tube Chime!
Inspired by practical experience in sound therapy, Schlagwerk has developed its table tube chime into a mobile hand tube chime. In this hand tube chime, the individual overtones to the fundamental tone are playable and audible. Thanks to the hanging cord, it can be freely moved, struck, and swung through the room. This fills even larger spaces with a wonderful, pure sound carpet.
HRS7 Hand Tube Chime
The tones of this hand tube chime consist of the pure overtone series of the Venus tone at 441 Hz. (Approximately a4) An overtone series is a sequence of partial tones that vibrate simultaneously when a natural tone sounds, making it appear as a single tone to us. Such an overtone series represents the purest, absolutely harmonic scale.
It was not artificially developed by humans, as with Schlagwerk’s well-tempered tuning, but the pitches arise directly from natural vibration laws. It follows a universal wave principle of the universe, making it perceptible to us in every respect.
