Tama HS70S Spartan Snare Stand

Lightweight Snare Stand With Reliable Stability!

The Tama HS70S Spartan Snare Stand pairs a lightweight construction with a sturdy design for 12" to 15" snare drums. Hollow aluminum tubing cuts the weight to just 1.6 kg, making the hardware especially easy to carry for frequent transport. At the same time, anti-walk rubber feet, the Glide-Tite Grip Joint and the classic snare basket deliver a secure setup. The Quick-Set Tilter lets you set the tilt angle continuously, while the 390 to 545 mm height range allows flexible adjustment for different drum kits and playing positions.

Lightweight Aluminum Construction for Mobile Drummers

When rehearsing, in sessions and on gig nights, low weight is a decisive advantage. The HS70S uses hollow aluminum tubing to significantly reduce the load on the road. Despite its lightweight build, the stand is engineered to perform reliably even under powerful backbeats. The total weight of just 1.6 kg makes it an appealing solution for drummers who regularly transport their gear and don't want to compromise on a secure mount for their snare drum.

For 12" to 15" Snare Drums

The classic basket is designed for snare drums with a 12" to 15" diameter. Its extendable basket design lets you position and secure the drum quickly. That makes the HS70S suitable for different snare sizes within this range and flexible across various drum set configurations. The base section features a tube with a 28.6 mm diameter, forming the central backbone of the stand's construction.

Quick-Set Tilter for Continuous Angle Adjustment

With the Quick-Set Tilter you can adjust the snare drum's angle quickly and continuously. That allows you to fine-tune your playing position to match your seat height, striking technique and personal ergonomics. The intuitive adjustment cuts setup time and enables fast tweaks right before a rehearsal or a gig. Especially with changing setups, the free angle choice gives a practical advantage over fixed detent positions.

Anti-Walk Rubber Feet for Reliable Stability

Light drum hardware still needs to stay put during energetic playing. The Spartan Snare Stand is equipped with anti-walk rubber feet to reduce unwanted movement on the floor and support a stable stance while you play. In this way the HS70S combines its lightweight aluminum construction with a practical solution against the typical wandering of especially light stands.

Glide-Tite Grip Joint for a Stable Connection

The Glide-Tite Grip Joint complements the design and ensures a reliable connection between the stand elements. Together with the classic basket, the anti-walk rubber feet and the solid base section, it creates a compact hardware solution for stage, studio and rehearsal room. The height adjustment from 390 to 545 mm (15 3/8" to 21 1/2") also allows flexible adaptation to different seating and playing positions.
