The Control Beater was developed in conjunction with the MDD Direct Drive Pedal and features interchangeable weights and 3 beater surfaces: hard flat felt (for maximum surface contact), ball-shaped felt (rounded felt for minimal surface contact), flat plastic. The removable brass weights* allow the user five weight settings, and the self-leveling head ensures the beater always strikes the drumhead flat.
