Paiste Cymbals for the Perfect Sound!
For the production of PST 5 cymbals we use the same high-quality bronze alloy as in our professional class, which became famous with our 2002 series. The combination of this sonorous bronze with the new production method opens up new sound dimensions for the drummer, and the rich program offers diverse possibilities to shape an individual cymbal set.
The principle of the family business is to constantly develop new sounds for cymbals, gongs and bronze percussion instruments that meet the creative needs of drummers and percussionists. The foundation of this search for musical sound is the successful combination of the vivid imagination of the musicians and the creative, inventive spirit of the instrument makers.
The spark that continuously fuels this search is music itself — in all its beauty, complexity and the seemingly endless possibilities to express oneself anew. The relationship between the soundmakers and the drummers and percussionists at Paiste — in other words the musicians — is based on the very intimate revelation of this deep principle. That is the company's fundamental and true goal.
The secret to creating new sounds is a lifetime of experience, extensive expertise in sound and sound shaping, careful craftsmanship and intensive experimentation. Random results simply don't occur. They research meticulously and refine their work with care, guaranteeing absolute consistency of sound quality and timbre for every cymbal, gong and other instrument they sell. Thanks to this dedication, they can offer a wide selection of specific sounds that match the personal wishes of musicians exactly. New sound dimensions are in the pipeline. Paiste offers new options to expand the sound palette and to develop your musical expression individually and creatively. That will help you realize your musical dreams.
Cymbal Stands with Retractable Boom
The XDrum Semi cymbal stand is wonderfully convenient and easy to transport thanks to its low weight and the ability to fold down extremely small. The 39 cm long boom allows a very flexible setup so the cymbal sits where it's needed. With the boom retracted the stand can be used like a normal straight stand. The double-braced hardware ensures optimal stability of all components, even during longer sessions. Nylon fittings prevent scratching of the chrome finish during setup and teardown.
