The kit’s floor tom is equipped with a 20-strand snare strainer that transforms the 13" shell into a low-frequency snare with just one move. In addition to jazz and pop styles, this kit is also perfect for hip-hop, R&B, and other musical genres.

Combine a compact kit with optional mesh heads and cymbal pads to get a drum set that can be played almost silently at any time of day or night. Add Yamaha’s EAD10 system or compatible trigger systems, and the Stage Custom Hip can even be transformed into a full hybrid set, allowing you to access a rich selection of high-quality sounds, provided you have the right hardware.
