The MAPEX Armory series targets drummers seeking a professionally equipped drum kit in the mid-price range. Armory drums are easy to tune and feature elements that enhance the sound and handling of the set.
All drums in the Armory series come with SONIClear bearing edges, which significantly simplify tuning and guarantee a "wobble-free" head seating. The increased contact area of the head brings the shell tone powerfully and more focused to the forefront. The response of the Armory snares is also supported and improved by the SONIClear bearing edges.
SONIClear Tom Mount
The MAPEX SONIClear mount is completely detached from the shell at the mounting points, allowing the hybrid drums of the Armory series made of maple and birch to "breathe" and unleash their full potential. Another feature is the floor tom legs from the Saturn IV series, which preserve the full resonance of the floor toms and seamlessly match their sound to the rack toms.
The Armory series is available in top lacquer finishes, applied by hand and among the best the market has to offer.
