Affordable, Great Sound - and a Real Eye-Catcher!

Since its successful comeback in 2006, the Imperialstar series has offered players a complete drumkit at an affordable price. The new sets come packed with many pro features. The 22" bass drums are now 18" deep and, like the 20" or 18" versions, equipped with wooden hoops. The biggest upgrade, however, is the double-braced Stage Master hardware, included with all Imperialstars from 2023 onward.

Laser-Measured Shell Bearing Edges

The drum shells are made from six-ply poplar wood. The bearing edge quality, which has a crucial impact on the sound of the drumhead and shell, is laser-measured on the Tama Imperialstar. For the 2023 revision, the Imperialstar was refined with matching wooden hoops on the bass drum and a newly developed tom mount, elevating the Imperialstar to a completely new level.

Stage Master Hardware

The fully double-braced hardware offers rock-solid stability and top-notch handling. Both cymbal stands feature retractable booms, and the Omnisphere double tom holder allows free movement in every direction.

HCS Cymbal Set

Included is the Meinl HCS bronze cymbal set with 14" hi-hat, a 16" crash, and a 20" ride cymbal made from B8 alloy with a traditional finish. These cymbals are crafted in Germany under the highest quality standards.

Black Nickel Hardware

All shell hardware is black nickel-plated, a feature usually found only on high-end models. The combination of this hardware finish with the Blacked Out Black wrap finish creates a truly striking look.
