Sonicware deconstruct MINIMAL is a portable groove machine for minimal techno, house, acid, dub techno, electronic rhythms and experimental live sets. The compact groovebox combines drum machine, sampler, loop track, analog-modeling bass synthesizer, sequencer and performance effects in a direct hardware workflow. With 11 tracks, 128 patterns, parameter locks, vintage groove character, Time-Stretch, Repitch, MIDI, USB Audio and battery operation, deconstruct MINIMAL delivers everything for precise patterns, vivid drift movements and hypnotic club grooves.

Drum Machine With Vintage Groove Character

The built-in drum machine offers 9 drum tracks, 16 drum kits and 130 sounds across 10 banks. The sample-based sound engine is complemented by editable parameters per bank, while dedicated synthesis engines for BD1 and SD provide punchy bass drums and crisp snare sounds. Hi-hats with analog tonal variations, accent, random velocity, swing and sub-steps per track produce organic rhythm instead of rigid machine precision.

Sampler for Loops, One-Shots and Textures

The 4-track sampler expands your patterns with your own samples, field recordings, vocal fragments, percussion, FX hits and atmospheric loops. Import and export work via Line In or USB. Tracks 7–9 offer 32 slots for 2-second mono samples or 16 slots for 4-second mono samples at 48 kHz / 16 bit PCM with repitch-to-tempo. Track 10 functions as a loop track with 12 slots for 8-second stereo samples, loop or one-shot playback, time-stretch, crossfades and retrigger.

Analog-Modeling Bass Synth for Acid and Techno

The monophonic bass synthesizer delivers punchy basslines, acid sequences and electronic leads. Four waveforms, an alternate S01 mode, sub-oscillator, 4-pole lowpass filter, resonance, envelope amount, decay, glide, filter-coupled accent, gate time and built-in overdrive make it a powerful sound source for driving minimal and techno productions. Saw, square, triangle and rectangle cover classic synth basses as well as rougher electronic lines.

Sequencer for Structured Live Performance

The sequencer runs 11 tracks, 128 patterns and up to 64 steps per pattern. Real-time recording, step input, parameter locks per step, pattern chaining, variation playback, phrase rotation, mute, solo, transpose and BPM per pattern or global give you complete control over arrangement and performance. That lets you subtly alter, thicken and rearrange minimalist motifs live.

Effects for Direct Sound Shaping

The master FX include sweep filter, phaser, distortion, snip loop and ducking compressor. Additionally, send FX with reverb in room, hall and plate variants and a tape-style delay with BPM sync and ping-pong are available. The integrated isolator supports boost and cut for quick mix interventions. This lets you shape builds, breaks, drops and transitions directly on the unit.

Compact Hardware for Studio and Stage

With 27 pads/keys, 12 knobs, 2 encoders, 16 micro-knobs and SCALE, LATCH and JUMP modes, the workflow stays hands-on and performance-oriented. Line In, Line Out, headphone jack, USB Audio, USB-C, MIDI/SYNC In/Out and an integrated speaker make deconstruct MINIMAL flexible for studio, jam, travel and stage. Power is supplied via 9 V DC adapter or 6 AA batteries.
