The Yamaha CLP-835 is a digital piano that fully responds to the player's touch. Grand Expression Modeling reproduces the wide range of tonal variations created by differences in force and speed when pressing and releasing the keys. Yamaha uses samples from two world-class concert grands: the bright, brilliant voice of the Yamaha CFX and the warm, deep resonance of the Bösendorfer Imperial. The unique tones of these pianos are defined by rich overtones and vibrant resonances produced by the vibrating strings and soundboard, and they react authentically to articulation and pedaling. With an even greater range of dynamic expression, Clavinova pianos offer richer tonal nuances than ever before.

The rhythm function adds fun and momentum to simple performances, while the audio recording feature lets you play back preferred performances on a computer or other device. In addition, the built-in volume limiter prevents unwanted volume spikes.

Easy Control via the LCD Display

A clear display and a user-friendly interface make it easy to select functions such as rhythms and songs. Dedicated buttons on the control panel provide quick access to the Yamaha CFX and Bösendorfer Imperial piano voices.
