Slim Design With a Big Piano Feel!
The Yamaha Arius YDP-S56 is the slim Slim Line model for anyone who wants a high-quality digital, electric and home piano with a reduced footprint. It pairs 88 weighted keys with the new GrandTouch-E hammer action, Yamaha CFX concert grand sound, VRM Lite, 192-note polyphony, powerful 2 x 20 Watt output and Bluetooth audio plus Bluetooth MIDI. That gives you the strong playing foundation of the YDP-166 in a modern, space-saving package.
Slim-Line Cabinet
The YDP-S56 was developed for living rooms, apartments, music rooms and modern interiors where a traditional digital piano can feel too bulky. Its slim profile and flat-closing lid create a clean, minimal look. At the same time, the instrument remains a full-fledged Arius piano with 88 keys, three pedals and a stable, responsive touch.
GrandTouch-E in Compact Form
The GrandTouch-E keyboard is the decisive upgrade over the smaller Slim Line model. It responds precisely to subtle nuances, fast repetitions and dynamic playing. That makes the YDP-S56 ideal for demanding players, advanced students and returning players who don’t want to compromise on touch despite the compact footprint.
CFX Sound and Resonance
The Yamaha CFX concert grand sound delivers a clear, expressive tone with natural dynamics. VRM Lite enhances the resonance of strings and dampers, while reverb effects, key-off samples and smooth release round the sound off musically. Over headphones, the Stereophonic Optimizer provides a pleasant, spacious playing experience.
Powerful Speakers
Despite its slim cabinet, the YDP-S56 features a 2 x 20 Watt speaker system. The result is a present, room-filling sound that convinces both during practice and performance. Intelligent Acoustic Control helps keep the sound balanced and transparent even at low volumes.
Bluetooth and Smart Pianist
Bluetooth audio lets you stream songs, backing tracks and learning content through the built-in speakers. Bluetooth MIDI connects the piano wirelessly to the Yamaha Smart Pianist app. That lets you control functions comfortably and use digital practice tools without extra cables.
