Intuitive Control with Your Smart Device

The Yamaha P-S500 is compatible with the Smart Pianist app, which can be installed on the player’s smart device. Once connected to the instrument, the player gains access to a variety of control functions and instrument settings. Additionally, there are features that make learning and playing even more enjoyable. Furthermore, the app can generate sheet music for the accompaniment from songs stored on the device, making it even easier to learn favorite tunes. The learning path is greatly simplified by the Stream Lights function. Red and blue lights above each key show the player not only which keys to play but also when to play them. This unique feature even allows playing without needing to read sheet music.

Two Concert Grands - One Great Collection

Players can look forward to two world-class concert grand piano sounds: Yamaha’s finest concert grand, the CFX, and the famous Bösendorfer Imperial from Vienna. A privilege you’ll find only with Yamaha instruments. Authentic Playability - Like an Acoustic Instrument

The P-S500 is equipped with Virtual Resonance Modeling (VRM), which virtually reproduces the typical vibrations and resonances of a classic piano. In this process, VRM calculates the position of each of the instrument’s 88 tones in real time, ensuring an unparalleled realistic and complex sound image. Additional playing pleasure comes from the Graded Hammer Standard (GHS) keyboard with 88 weighted keys, providing an authentic playing feel.

Exquisite Instrument Sounds and Accompaniment Styles

The P-S500 features 660 high-quality tones from a wide variety of instruments, including pianos, electric pianos, organs, wind instruments, strings, and percussion. The unique Super Articulation Voices reproduce the character of each instrument down to the smallest detail. 100 tones, 100 accompaniment styles, and 100 sounds are ready at the push of a button. Combined with the Smart Pianist app on a connected smart device, players can even choose from an impressive 370 accompaniment styles and 403 songs. The selection covers a wide range of musical genres. The "Audio To Score" function integrated into the Smart Pianist app automatically creates sheet music for the accompaniment from the player’s favorite songs, enabling play-along with the original recordings.

Audio and MIDI Recording

The P-S500 allows players to record their own playing in two different formats: conventionally as an audio file or in MIDI format with up to 16 tracks for more complex arrangements. Not only recording but also sharing the recorded data is incredibly easy with the Smart Pianist app on the smart device. A microphone can be connected to sing along while playing the piano.

The Pronomic KH-900 is a professional stereo headphone that combines excellent sound characteristics with maximum wearing comfort at an affordable price. The soft, wide synthetic leather headband automatically adjusts to head size, ensuring a comfortable fit. The KH-900 features a wide frequency range from 15 to 25,000 Hz, delivering balanced, nuanced sound with brilliant, clear highs and precise, rich bass. Thanks to the low impedance of only 32 ohms, the KH-900 performs impressively even with very low-power headphone outputs, such as MP3 players or smartphones, providing powerful sound and enough headroom.
