Yamaha P-525B - The Flagship Model of the P Series with Authentic Features!
The top model among the portable digital pianos of the P series. This model features wooden keys, CFX and Bösendorfer voices, and offers the capabilities of a real piano in a sophisticated design, perfect for home playing or small live performances. Compatible with the optional LP-1/FC35 three-pedal unit.
The P-525 is the flagship model of the world-famous Yamaha P series of compact digital pianos, delivering an authentic playing feel, exquisite sound, and further enhanced instrument tones. The piano sounds include two world-class grand pianos: the Yamaha CFX and the Bösendorfer Imperial. The speaker power as well as the variety and quality of sounds, including organs and electric pianos, have been significantly improved compared to the predecessor model P-515.
The highly praised NWX wooden keyboard has been replaced by the GrandTouch-S keyboard with 88 keys. This brings the playing experience even closer to the touch and feel of a grand piano. With the Registration Memory function to save and recall settings and other helpful and practical features for live performances, the P-525 is also ideally suited as a stage piano.
The GrandTouch-S Keyboard Offers a Realistic Playing Feel
The P-525 is equipped with the excellently playable GrandTouch-S keyboard, which is also found in Yamaha's top Clavinova digital pianos. The keyboard's playing feel comes as close as possible to that of a grand piano.
The GrandTouch-S keyboard also simulates the tonal variations resulting from subtle differences in touch strength, velocity, and strike position. The white keys are made of solid wood and are distortion-resistant and especially durable due to their laminated structure.

Reproduction of the Sound of Two World-Class Concert Grand Pianos in a Compact Housing
The P-525 is equipped with the Yamaha CFX and Bösendorfer Imperial sounds. The CFX is characterized by brilliant highs and powerful bass, while the Imperial has a warm sound known worldwide as the "Viennese sound."
Despite its compact size, the P-525 offers the full experience of the distinct qualities of these two great concert grands.
Play Realistic Interpretations
The P-525 offers improved organ, electric piano, and other keyboard instrument sounds.
The engineers who made these optimizations are experts in the sound of electric organs and electric pianos and the associated music culture. Their goal was to faithfully and with high quality simulate familiar sounds such as the click effect of an organ and the distinctive sound of its Leslie speakers, the reverb, distortion, and other sound effects of electric pianos that shaped pop music of the '70s and '80s. This leads to a realistic experience that gives you the feeling of actually playing these instruments.

Equipped with Practical Features for Live Performances
The P-525 features the Registration Memory function to save and recall settings, which is very useful and practical for live performances in cafés, bars, and other small venues. You can conveniently program all sounds and rhythms at home and then quickly and easily recall them at the venue. It is also easy to switch between sounds during a performance.
Other features include Sound Boost and an adjustable EQ to ensure the piano sounds its best even when playing with other instruments in a band.
Full, Clear, Natural Sound
The two-way speakers reproduce all sounds from powerful bass to delicate highs clearly and distinctly, without distortion or noise. We have slightly angled the speakers toward the player position so that a pleasant sound image surrounds you while playing.
The speaker housing has also been improved. It uses flared bass reflex ports and proprietary sound-absorbing channels to significantly reduce noise, vibration sounds, and other excess noises typically emitted by speaker boxes. This gives you higher sound quality during your performances.
The P-525 is also the first digital piano equipped with an FIR filter. The FIR filter fine-tunes the phase of the sound so that listeners in the same room hear a naturally pleasant sound just like the player.

Tone Colors
The P-525 is equipped with 542 different sounds, including 44 carefully selected instruments as well as 18 Drum/SFX kits and 480 XG voices. Among the 44 sounds developed for the P-525 are Yamaha's CFX concert grand and 11 other piano voices, 9 electric piano voices, and 6 organ voices, as well as harpsichord, strings, guitar, and other unique voices. The realistic, high-quality simulations of the characteristic sounds of each instrument give you access to a wide range of musical expression possibilities with a single instrument.

Titles
The P-525 comes with 71 pre-installed songs, including 21 demo songs suitable for every voice, such as grand piano, electric piano, various organs, harpsichord, including jazz organ, electric clavichord, vibraphone, etc. We recommend listening to these demo songs, which cover a variety of styles from simple classical to baroque masterpieces, R&B, pop music, and more. This gives you an idea of the possibilities the P-525 offers for your musical expression.

Practice with Headphones
One of the biggest advantages of a digital piano is that you can practice with headphones. This solves the problem of not wanting to disturb family members or neighbors while playing, not to mention that they don't have to hear your performance if it's not yet perfect.

Metronome
We recommend using the metronome if you want to practice with a consistent tempo.
Recording
If you want to listen to your playing objectively or practice only the right hand together with the left hand, the recording function is just right for you.
Rhythms
If you get tired of playing alone, you can accompany yourself with rhythms in styles like rock, pop, jazz, and bossa nova. This is also a good way to learn style-specific rhythms.

Binaural Sampling
Binaural sampling places microphones next to the player's ears to capture the sound of the Yamaha CFX during sampling. When you wear headphones while playing a P-525 with the CFX Grand voice, the sound appears as if it comes from a grand piano directly in front of you, although it actually comes from the left and right headphone speakers. The sound is completely different from that of a stereo piano and so pleasant that you forget you are wearing headphones.

Bluetooth® Audio & MIDI
The P-525 features built-in Bluetooth® audio functionality, allowing you to pair the instrument with your Bluetooth®-enabled smartphone or tablet to listen to your favorite music through the instrument's speakers. You can play along on the instrument at the same time. No external adapter is required. Additionally, the built-in Bluetooth® MIDI functionality enables the use of the Smart Pianist app via a wireless connection.

Simply Record Videos & Music
If you want to record a video of your performance and share it on platforms like YouTube, TikTok, etc., Rec'n'Share is the perfect solution. Connect the P-525 to your smart device and record video with audio simultaneously to complete your video.
