With a nut width of 48 mm, the TourPlayer deliberately sits between the classical concert guitar and modern guitar concepts. For the top Ortega uses solid curly maple. Back and sides are also solid and made from Okoume. A binding of flamed maple complements the wood selection. The Okoume neck carries a laurel fretboard and offers 22 frets in total. An integrated armrest improves comfort, especially during longer sessions, and underlines the construction’s practical, performance-oriented design.
