LAG OC88 Occitania 88 4/4 - High Gloss Finish!

Traditionally, classical guitars feature a glossy finish that highlights the beauty of their natural wood. For good reason, this finish was also chosen for the OC88 models. The solid Engelmann spruce top lets the guitar sound extremely precise, which players who love impressive tonal clarity will appreciate.

The solid Engelmann spruce top enhances the OC88’s striking, precise tone. With a nut width of 51 mm, it is especially comfortable for fingerstyle players and classical guitarists.

The high-quality workmanship is immediately noticeable. I have not found any defects. The gloss is very nice and the guitar looks very noble. The instrument sounds as expected very fine, the bass should still develop a little, but is normal for a spruce top.
Overall I am very satisfied and after 1 week of playing the sound is developing in the right direction,

Question by JensMeinke on 07.11.2019

Dear Sir or Madam,

I would like to learn classical guitar and I am looking for an instrument.
I have noticed the Occitania models (OC70/OC88), but also the VGS Pro Natura models (Cherry).
Probably THE decisive criterion for me as a beginner is the playability (string action) together with the precision of the manufacturing (no noise/impurity).
I intuitively prefer full, low-frequency sounds, but I wouldn't want to put that in the foreground.

Which of the above models would you recommend more for a beginner? Are there any other models you would recommend?

Thanks and greetings,
J. Meinke

Answer by Musikhaus Kirstein:

I can really only recommend the Occitania models to you. They have a full, balanced sound and are also very easy to play. They have a flat neck and a flat string action.
