The Mesa Subway D-350 is the ultra-compact champion of MESA’s Subway Bass series and, at just 1.4 kg, the smallest and lightest bass amp in MESA’s history! Despite its ultra-portability, it still packs a mighty punch with 350 watts of Class-D power—and all with a simple, intuitive setup that gives you every tool you need to shape your tone and nothing you don’t, delivering the feel, response, and sound that have made the Subway series our most popular line.

The Legendary MESA Legacy

The Subway D-350 builds on the foundation of the acclaimed Subway D-800, using a solid-state preamp paired with a lightweight Class-D power amp and a switching power supply to deliver a hefty dose of world-class tone in an incredibly small and lightweight chassis. It’s perfect for home use and studio recording, yet still packs enough power and punch to deliver MESA-quality tone gig after gig at small to medium-sized shows.

All the Features You Need, Without Complexity

The MESA Subway D-350 easily adapts to active or passive basses with the Active/Passive switch, while the Input Mute switch lets you use inline tuners silently in the background. The Bright switch adds more bite and sparkle to your tone, opening up the high end a bit more, and all switches have LED status indicators. Separate Gain and Master Volume controls let you dial in a wide range of sounds, from shimmering cleans to mild overdrive and everything in between, while the built-in fixed high-pass filter (HPF) blocks unwanted, unmusical, headroom-stealing sub frequencies.

The Variable Voicing control adjusts the amp’s response from a flatter curve to a vintage curve by changing levels and frequency response across multiple bands with a single knob. The fully active 4-band Baxandall EQ features shelving controls for highs and lows plus peak/dip bands for low and high mids for even more tonal control.

Outputs for One and All

When practicing at home, you can listen to a media player and your bass simultaneously through the Aux input and headphone output without disturbing others. The Subway D-350 also features a USB power port to power accessories. The balanced XLR direct output (DI) with pre/post EQ source, ground lift, and mic/line level switch is perfect for sending the legendary MESA tone to the front-of-house PA or your recording system’s audio interface. You can connect one or two speaker cabinets via a pair of speakON jacks; the Subway D-350 is an excellent match for MESA’s highly musical Subway Ultra-Lite cabinets.
