If you pick up a BA-50 Lemmy, you already expect serious tonal possibilities from an amp. Its powerful tone controls and an effects loop let you craft your own signature sound.

Suitable for All Basses

The BA-50 Lemmy features two 1/4" inputs (High and Low) for active and passive basses. Its effective 3-band tone control can conjure almost any desired sound. To increase clarity, the "Aural Enhancer" can further refine the tone. That lets both electric and acoustic basses come through loud and clear.

With Effects Loop

If you want to add extra nuances like chorus, compressor, or distortion, an optional effects unit can be connected via the effects loop jacks. The amount of externally added effect can be smoothly blended into the original signal with the "Effects Blend" control.

Signal Limiter

To prevent overload and protect both the unit and your hearing, the BA-50 Lemmy includes a built-in limiter. If the processed signal gets too loud, the limiter prevents clipping. An LED shows whether the limiter is active.

Kickback Enclosure

To aim the sound toward your ear, the BA-50 can simply be tilted back thanks to its design. Tilted back by roughly 55°, the amp projects to your ears far better than to your calves. That makes it especially useful for onstage monitoring.

Headphone Output

Very practical: as soon as you plug headphones into the jack, the speaker automatically mutes. While you work on your technique, the neighbors won’t hear a thing thanks to the headphone connection.
