Hartke HD500 Bass Combo

I was looking for something light and smaller than my tower with 4x10" and 1x15" with top.
The HD 500 is exactly what I was looking for. It is light, has enough pressure to play with it even on bigger stages. The EQ is very sensitive to adjust and it takes a bit to find your way around it. Once you have found your setting, the sound and the existing pressure is a real pleasure.
Unfortunately, you can not connect another speaker.
But there is actually everything you need. Enough power and a DI output for a PA system.

I like a lot this amp and very satisfied with the purchase. It's very straightforward and simple but with this EQ and standard Bass/Mids/Treble knobs, it's possible to get a huge variety of different sounds. It can be used for both, practice and gigs, nothing to compain about this amp at all.

The workmanship leaves nothing to be desired. Those who miss further features like effect send/return should consider how that would fit in with the price.
The headphones output and the aux input are features that should be emphasized.

The amp is comfortable to transport thanks to handle grips, case handle and wheels.
The equipment is simple, but effective and professional. A gain is not needed and the tone control works efficiently. All important connections are available.
Workmanship flawless and it looks chic.
The amp already sounds to my liking on its own, the tone control only needs to be used discreetly. Fast, direct response and good pressure. Good volume, enough for rehearsals and small gigs. Especially in small rooms, the sound is particularly useful and the small speakers play out their strength.
What I miss is the possibility of connecting an additional box (at 500 watts power), then you could also sound larger events with another box.
