A compact stereo system for your whole musical world!
The McGrey MCD-60 DAB combines classic music playback with modern streaming and radio functions in a particularly slim vertical design. This compact stereo system, or mini hi-fi system, features a CD/MP3 player, DAB+ digital radio, FM radio, USB playback, Bluetooth and an AUX input. It also has a headphone output, an integrated equalizer and a 2-way stereo speaker system with 2 x 3 watts RMS music power. With its stand and wall-mounting option, this compact stereo system fits flexibly into your living room, kitchen, bedroom, study or hobby room.
DAB+ digital radio and FM
The integrated DAB+ radio lets you receive digital radio directly through the stereo system. Traditional FM radio is also available. This makes the MCD-60 DAB suitable for both modern digital radio stations and familiar analogue radio reception. The backlit LCD display makes operation clear and shows relevant information right on the unit.
Enjoy CDs and MP3s the classic way
The integrated CD/MP3 player also makes the McGrey MCD-60 DAB a great choice for existing music collections. It supports CDs, CD-Rs and CD-RWs, as well as MP3 files. Shuffle playback is also available in CD mode. Enjoy your favourite albums just as easily as your own music CDs and MP3 collections.
Bluetooth and USB for digital music
Connect compatible smartphones, tablets or laptops wirelessly to the system via Bluetooth. The Bluetooth interface has a range of up to 10 m, turning this compact vertical stereo system into a practical wireless music player for music, podcasts and other audio content. MP3 files can also be played directly from a USB drive. This gives you several ways to play digital audio, without limiting you to a single source.
AUX-in and headphone connection
The stereo system has a 3.5 mm AUX input for wired audio devices. You can connect compatible MP3 players and other audio sources directly, for example. The separate 3.5 mm headphone output lets you enjoy your music in private whenever you like. With CD, USB, Bluetooth, AUX and radio, the MCD-60 DAB is a versatile multimedia stereo system for everyday use.
2-way stereo sound with equalizer
The integrated 2-way speaker system delivers 2 x 3 watts RMS of music power. Use the equalizer to adjust the sound to suit the music with presets including POP, ROCK, CLASSIC, FLAT, JAZZ and VOCAL. The manufacturer does not specify the exact driver diameters for the woofer and tweeter in this system.
Place it on a surface or save space with wall mounting
The slim vertical housing takes up very little space and offers two flexible mounting options. Use the stand to place the system on a shelf, sideboard or table. Alternatively, it can be wall-mounted. Without the stand, it is just 6 cm deep. This makes the vertical hi-fi system especially easy to fit into spaces where room is limited. Operate it directly on the unit or conveniently with the included remote control.

or from CDs. Radio reception via the “wire antenna” is mediocre—it takes a while to find a station with clear reception—but I don’t listen to the radio anyway, so this isn’t a drawback for me.
Opening the battery compartment on the remote control (battery not included—requires a CR2025 button cell) is a bit tricky (it’s a fingernail killer).
Considering the low price, I (who grew up in the 1950s and 1960s) am generally satisfied.
