Soprano Saxophone With Soul!
Lechgold has stood for several years for outstanding brass instruments at an attractive price. We now apply the same standard to our woodwind instruments! Lechgold not only places the highest value on reliability and traditional craftsmanship, but also on giving musicians from the start the best possible foundation for unclouded enjoyment of their wind instrument. With an instrument from Lechgold you receive a high-quality, fully equipped wind instrument with excellent intonation. Plus: a personal final inspection of the instrument by an experienced woodwind instrument maker on site.
Saxophone
The brass saxophone is very responsive and produces a powerful sound. The ergonomic key mechanism is very smooth, making even fast passages easy to master. Various adjustment screws also allow fine tuning later on. Visually, the saxophone has a lot to offer: matching its sound, the key buttons are finished in a velvety, smoke-black abalone look, while the bell is adorned with a beautiful floral engraving.
Tested Quality
To ensure you enjoy your instrument for a long time, all wind instruments are inspected before shipping. All joints and keys are checked again for smooth operation and airtightness in the in-house wind workshop by a woodwind instrument maker before delivery. This procedure guarantees high playing comfort and reliable durability. The flawless condition of the Lechgold instrument is guaranteed on a certificate that is included with the instrument.
Tone Quality
By using the highest-quality materials, Lechgold instruments impress with an outstanding tonal character across all registers. With their dark, full sound, Lechgold saxophones follow the tonal ideals of American and German instruments. Easy response and flawless intonation form the foundation for true playing enjoyment.
Philosophy
Lechgold's philosophy is to produce unique instruments at an affordable price. The long Alpine tradition of brass music is a major source of inspiration for Lechgold, and the company embraces traditional craftsmanship just as much as state-of-the-art manufacturing processes. Carefully selected materials and consistently high quality make Lechgold instruments so popular with brass musicians of all genres.

Now after the repair - it took me about 30 minutes - all the notes respond easily and sound very good.
The instrument is a real eye-catcher.
Variant Lechgold LSS-20L Soprano Saxophone Lacquered

All the accessories listed on the website were supplied.
The instrument could be played immediately. We tuned it to "C" (it is a Bb instrument) and with a slight shift of the mouthpiece it tuned well.
The instrument is made in China and apparently well tuned by Kirstein. Despite the lower price compared to other suppliers of Chinese made saxophones, we chose Kirstein in this regard.
The 3-year warranty shows that Kirstein obviously stands behind the quality of the product.
In short, considering the price, we were pleasantly surprised by this instrument.
