Pioneer DJ VM-80 Black - Returned (Condition: Very Good)

Pioneer DJ VM-80 Black - 8" Active Monitor Speaker!

The active VM-80 delivers clear audio with fast transient response and punchy bass. The speaker can be tailored to the characteristics of any room, making it ideal for creating a club sound while DJing or for a flat frequency response when you're producing music in a private or professional studio.

High-Quality Components

Each speaker in the VM series contains a Class-D amplifier with a 96-kHz DSP to enable wideband audio reproduction. Its highly efficient power stage results in low distortion and energetic sound. The 4 mm-thick front aluminum plate also suppresses resonances and vibrations, delivering a sound that faithfully reproduces the original source.

Aramid-Fiber Woofer and Vortex Bass Accelerator

Aramid-fiber woofers provide exceptional punch that you can feel in the bass and low-mid frequencies. These newly developed cones are 30 percent lighter than conventional paper-lined aramid cones, allowing them to deliver more power at lower frequencies. The Vortex Bass Accelerator creates tight, vibration-free bass by letting air flow freely through ribs in the bass-reflex port, resulting in a clean, pure low end.

Constant Directivity Horn

Mid and high frequencies are reproduced with authority thanks to the CD horn, producing a wide, even listening area. The horn shape and the woofer edge are specifically designed so the flat frequency response transitions smoothly to the tweeter, resulting in a natural sound.

DSP Control - Easy Room Tuning

All VM-series speakers are tuned flat to ensure your music sounds natural. Each speaker includes DSP settings so you can optimize output and find the perfect sound for any room. On the rear panel there are two knobs: Low EQ and High EQ. Without looking, you can click each knob into four different positions, giving you 16 possible EQ combinations. Choose the setting that best suits the shape, size, and construction of your room for DJing or music production at home or in the studio.

Fresh, Professional Design

The new hexagonal aluminum front panel gives the monitors a fresh look as well as improved sonic performance and durability. It reduces unwanted vibrations to keep distortion low, while the tweeter guard lowers the risk of damage to the high-frequency diaphragm. The Alumit-treated brushed texture gives the speakers a professional finish that complements Pioneer DJ equipment.
