Pioneer DJ VM-70 Black - Returned (Condition: Very Good)

Pioneer DJ VM-70 Black - 6.5" Active Monitor Speaker!

The active VM-70 delivers clear audio with fast response and punchy bass. The speaker can be tailored to the acoustics of any room, making it ideal for creating club sound while DJing or offering a flat frequency response when you produce music in a home or professional studio.

High-Quality Components

Each VM-series speaker houses a Class-D amplifier with a 96 kHz DSP to enable wideband audio reproduction. Its highly efficient power results in low distortion and energetic sound. The 4 mm-thick aluminum front insert also suppresses resonances and vibrations, producing a sound that authentically reproduces the original source.

Aramid-Fiber Woofer and Vortex Bass Accelerator

Aramid-fiber woofers deliver excellent punch you can feel in the bass and low mids. These newly developed cones are 30 percent lighter than conventional paper-lined aramid cones, which makes them more powerful at lower frequencies. The Vortex Bass Accelerator creates tight, vibration-free lows by letting air flow freely through ribs in the bass-reflex port, yielding a clean, focused bass.

Constant Directivity Horn

Mid and high frequencies are reproduced powerfully thanks to the CD horn, which also creates a wide, even listening area. The horn shape and the woofer edge are specifically designed so the flat response transitions smoothly to the tweeter, resulting in a natural sound.

DSP Control - Sound Easily Tailored to the Room

All VM-series speakers are tuned flat to ensure your music sounds natural. Each speaker includes DSP settings so you can optimize the output and find the perfect sound for any room. On the rear panel there are two knobs: Low EQ and High EQ. You can click each knob into one of four positions without looking, giving you 16 possible EQ combinations. Choose the setting that best fits the shape, size, and construction of your room for DJing or producing music at home or in the studio.

Fresh, Professional Design

The all-new hexagonal aluminum front panel delivers a fresh look along with improved sound quality and durability. It reduces unwanted vibrations to keep distortion low, while the tweeter protector lowers the risk of damage to the high-frequency diaphragm. The alumit-treated brushed texture gives the speakers a professional finish so they pair perfectly with Pioneer DJ equipment.
