Gentle Sound Waves For Relaxing Soundscapes!
The Meinl Sonic Energy WD20WB-WH Wave Drum produces the soothing sound of rolling ocean waves and creates a relaxing, natural sonic atmosphere. By gently tilting the drum, glass and metal beads move across the playing surface and shape flowing, wave-like sounds. The combination of a woven synthetic head, a synthetic head, and a sturdy frame ensures controlled volume and a balanced, even tonal character.
Natural Wave Sound With Controlled Dynamics
Inside the Wave Drum are glass and metal beads whose movement creates the characteristic ocean sound. The amount and distribution of the beads can be adjusted, allowing you to tailor the response, density, and dynamics of the sound. This produces a moderately loud, calming tone that can sit subtly in the background or be used deliberately as a sonic element.
Versatile Use In Therapy And Music
The Wave Drum is ideal for meditations, sound journeys, yoga sessions, and therapeutic applications. At the same time, it integrates into musical performances to create atmospheric pads, transitions, or natural sound effects. Its even, organic tone supports relaxation and focus and promotes a calm, balanced perception.
High-Quality Vegan Materials
The frame is made from sturdy rubberwood and provides a stable base for the woven and synthetic heads. This material combination is fully vegan and ensures even sound transmission as well as a pleasant feel. The Wave Drum is built to last and designed for regular use in the studio, therapeutic settings, or at home.
Comfortable Size And Easy Handling
With its 20" diameter, the Wave Drum offers a full tonal range while remaining controllable. The shallow depth supports comfortable holding and precise tilting, so fine sound movements can be produced effortlessly. This creates an instrument that's intuitive to play and quickly invites relaxed sonic moments.
Experience flowing sound movements and enrich your sessions with natural calm!
