This highly professional 2-way active system is built for absolute, long-term reliability. With its multifunctional bass-reflex enclosure and precisely tuned, user-friendly presets, the LD Systems Stinger 15A G3 speaker is suitable as a full-range box, satellite and floor monitor.
The Stinger 15A G3 is powered by a highly efficient Class D amplifier delivering a powerful 500 W continuous output. The specially developed 15" woofer and a BMS tweeter produce punchy bass and fresh, natural highs. The tweeter's waveguide was developed using the Boundary Element Method (BEM), a numerical simulation of sound radiation and propagation. It reduces reflections from floors and ceilings, prevents side lobes and thus achieves controlled, homogeneous dispersion. Thanks to LD Systems' proprietary DynX DSP technology, the Stinger 15A G3 delivers perfect performance under all conditions with maximum clarity and projection.
The signal processing for the crossover function and the multiband limiter achieves optimal time alignment and minimal distortion. Designed as a true workhorse, the speaker cabinet is constructed from robust birch plywood. It offers exceptional strength and durability with an extremely tough polyurea coating.
Equipment includes a steel front grille, the dual-tilt pole mount, flying points and ergonomic handles. The Stinger 15A G3 is a cost-effective solution for professional sound reinforcement. Extensive accessories support its use on stage and in permanent installations.
