This is especially true for the MAUI G3 MIX versions with the integrated digital 6-channel mixer. All components are on board and perfectly matched: mixer, effects, dynamics, DSP controller, amplifiers and speakers. Wireless remote control via smartphone or tablet using the free MAUI app (iOS or Android) is included as well.

The MAUI 11 G3 MIX is an exceptionally compact, remarkably powerful and smart premium-class column PA system. It delivers a large, punchy and precise sound with 730 W RMS (1,460 W peak), convincing in all applications: as a main PA for singer/songwriters and small bands, as a sound system for mobile DJ-plus setups, or as a PA for weddings, corporate events and other occasions.

Speakers

With its elegant design the MAUI 11 G3 MIX looks especially harmonious. The two aluminum column elements sit at the front edge of the subwoofer in the MAUI G3 series, enhancing the seamless visual impression. The columns house 6 x 3.5" midrange drivers that, together with the innovative phase-plug design and the 2 x 1" tweeters, ensure even sound distribution with consistent horizontal dispersion. In addition, the BEM-optimized waveguide in front of the tweeters carries the high frequencies into the rear audience areas.

The developers also refined the crossover point between the mid and high drivers to reduce harmonic distortion and cancellations, making the sound even more transparent and punchy. The result: an especially precise reproduction of vocals and instruments across the entire 120° x 30° coverage area.

2 x 1" Tweeters on Curved Waveguide

The new waveguide offers a narrow and precise vertical dispersion of 30°. This ensures the high frequencies reach the front row of your audience as reliably as the back of the venue.

6 x 3.5" Midrange Drivers

The column and midrange drivers of the MAUI G3 are larger than on previous versions and deliver an unprecedented full-range experience.

2 x 8" Subwoofers

The subwoofers of the MAUI G3 series have been completely redesigned to generate massive bass from a compact enclosure.

Connections and Operation

The built-in 6-channel mixer adapts to the user via Easy or Expert mode. The user decides whether they prefer intuitive 3-band EQs or fully parametric 5-band filters. A comprehensive effects section covers the full range of reverb, delay and dynamics processing. All mixer and effect settings can be controlled wirelessly via the app.

Maui G3 Mix

Everything on board! - With the MAUI G3 Mix versions you no longer need a separate mixer. The digital 6-channel mixer gives you versatile options thanks to mic / Hi-Z / line inputs. That means you can connect microphones, guitars, basses, keyboards or various media players directly and mix and shape the signals. Linking two MAUI-G3-MIX systems via SysLink to create a stereo setup doubles the number of available analog inputs. Of course, direct streaming via Bluetooth 5.0 is available.

The menu control is extremely intuitive thanks to the control panel with LC display and three rotary-press encoders. In just a few steps you can set effects, EQ, dynamics and monitor signals - even per individual channel.

Mix App

Remote control your mix! - Get every setting you can make on the MAUI-G3-MIX onto your smartphone or tablet. With the user-friendly MAUI-G3-MIX app layout you always have your mix under control.

The Easy mode is ideal for a quick start: with preset configurations and simple adjustments you can get going immediately. For those who want to dive deeper into their sound, the Expert mode offers advanced functions - from detailed filtering to precise control of attack and compressor per channel.

For stereo applications two MAUI 11 G3 MIX units can be linked via SysLink. In this case the number of mixer channels available doubles, and thanks to the REMOTE button all channels can even be controlled from a single system.

Fill the Room with Sound

The columns of the MAUI 11 G3 MIX are designed as cardioid speakers. This provides controlled low-mid energy to the front and up to 18 dB attenuation to the rear, resulting in a clean stage sound field.

Super-wide 120° Horizontal Coverage

Thanks to the line-array arrangement and the integrated waveguides on the mid drivers, the so-called phase plugs, the MAUI G3 offers a very wide and constant horizontal dispersion of 120°.

Narrow and Precise 30° Vertical Coverage

The new waveguide provides a narrow and precise vertical dispersion of 30°. This ensures the high frequencies reach the front row of your audience as effectively as the back of the venue.

Passive Cardioid Column

The two-part passive column of the MAUI G3 has been completely revised and refined in many areas. A unique feature of the new column is its passive cardioid design, which enables controlled sound radiation in the lower mid and midrange.

-18 dB to the Rear

Thanks to its exclusive design the column provides true cardioid characteristics and achieves up to 18 dB attenuation to the rear between 100 Hz and 1 kHz.

Damping Acoustic Foam

The cardioid behavior of the column is achieved by a clever use of damping acoustic foam behind the tweeters and mid drivers within the column and by precise cutouts in the aluminum housing at the column rear.

Get Ready for Deep Bass

With the two larger 8" chassis and four bass-reflex ports the noticeably more powerful subwoofer reproduces bass down to 39 Hz clearly and with punch. Using a second subwoofer can increase the bass by 6 dB and switch to cardioid configuration at the push of a button (preset). In addition, the extremely durable polyurea coating of the subwoofer withstands the toughest demands "on the road" without problems.

Want to build a cardioid subwoofer setup? No problem. Simply rotate the subwoofer 180° and activate the cardioid setting on the rear of the subwoofer.

Automatic Column Detection

With automatic column detection the subwoofer automatically activates "FOLLOWER" mode when the column is removed and adjusts the DSP settings accordingly.
