With the DAVE 10 G4X the search is over. LD Systems has completely redeveloped and fine-tuned this active 2.1 sound system. All you need to do is assemble the 10" subwoofer and the two satellites with dual 4" drivers (total power: 680 W Peak) and connect your gear — the sound will impress you from the first moment. The integrated 6-channel mixer gives you full control over microphones, instruments and signals — and thanks to built-in Bluetooth you can stream wirelessly from a smartphone or tablet.

The first two mixer channels are configured as channel strips. Here you can connect either a microphone, a high-impedance instrument — for example guitar or bass — or line-level sources. For tone shaping each channel provides a 2-band EQ for bass and treble as well as an adjustable reverb with three presets (Small, Large, Plate). Channels 3+4 are designed as stereo line inputs and are suitable for keyboards, synthesizers, drum machines or small e-drum kits.

The DAVE 10 G4X becomes even more versatile when you use the digital SPDIF stereo input or the Bluetooth connection to link a CD player, computer or smartphone. Need backing tracks or sound effects for your gig or want to play some music before the show? No problem. Inputs (channels 5+6) can also be used for a karaoke setup or simply to reproduce a TV in a sports bar with authoritative sound.

Speaking of authoritative sound: the DAVE 10 G4X was completely redesigned from the ground up. Instruments and music benefit, as does speech intelligibility when you occasionally use the system for presentations, speeches or panel discussions. The DAVE 10 G4X features a new dome tweeter and waveguides for a homogeneous dispersion pattern, plus FIR filters and state-of-the-art DSP technology for a transparent, distortion-free sound — helped by the optimized bass-reflex system in the subwoofer with minimal vent noise.

The DAVE 10 G4X sound system is a 2.1 stereo system with two selectable stereo presets. Typically you will place the two satellites left and right in the room or on stage — this is the classic stereo preset. For a particularly space-saving setup the two satellites can also be mounted on a single T-stand above the subwoofer. When the satellites are positioned very close together, interference is likely. For that scenario there is a dedicated preset (Cluster Mode) with a special M/S split to reproduce the stereo signal free of interference. This also gives you more headroom and directional control.
