For First-Class Stereo Recordings With the Zoom H8 Multitrack Recorder!
The Zoom XAH-8 microphone capsule delivers crystal-clear stereo recordings. The capsules are easy to adjust, letting you switch between a compact XY arrangement and an AB setup for wider stereo imaging.
The X/Y format captures sound sources at close to medium distance with natural, three-dimensional depth and width. This format is perfect for recording solo performances and live rehearsals as well as outdoor recordings and similar applications.
In the AB format, the room ambience is captured along with the desired sound sources to create a wide stereo impression. This format is recommended for capturing the reverberant character in a hall as well as for meetings and similar applications.
