Mix Smarter. Work Faster. Sound Better!
The CQ-12T is the smallest mixer in the CQ range and is ideal for home recording and streaming, band rehearsals, small gigs and spoken-word applications. CQ takes the proven processing and effects engines, adds exciting new supporting mixing tools and packages everything into Allen & Heath's smallest and most affordable digital mixer series to date.
Quick And Complete - Choose Your Mixing Style
Each input channel on the CQ can be switched between two modes.
Quick Channels offers instrument- and application-specific processing with the ability to set a complete channel's processing via a single control.
Need more control? Switch to Complete Channels for advanced, in-depth parameter changes.
Gain Assistant - Faster Setup
Setting the correct gain for every channel isn't exactly the most exciting task, and if you have multiple channels to manage it can quickly eat into your setup time.
The CQ Gain Assistant quickly and accurately sets the optimal gain level for one or more input channels and monitors levels during a performance to avoid unpleasant peaks or surprises.
Feedback Assistant - Say Goodbye To Feedback
The CQ Feedback Assistant automatically detects and removes problematic frequencies with up to 16 filters per output, so you can mix with confidence—and forget about feedback.
Unadulterated Sound - You Won't Believe Your Ears
CQ uses next-generation live sound console technology to deliver an audio quality previously unimaginable at this price. Pristine 96-kHz audio is combined with integrated studio-quality processing and an optimized effects suite to set a new standard for what ultra-compact digital mixers can achieve.
Built-In Effects - A New Breed Of Effects
CQ introduces a new range of high-quality, user-friendly reverb, delay and modulation algorithms with instrument-specific presets for fast setup.
Selected effects include the new FX Assist tool, which automatically shapes effects and reacts dynamically to your input signal to ensure your mix is enhanced—not swallowed—by effects.
User-Friendly - You'Re Always In Control
The CQ-12T gives you the tactile control you need to get around the surface quickly.
The 7" touchscreen and rotary controls make setup and mixing easy, and the 3 custom SoftKeys let you call up frequently used functions at the push of a button.
Connect a router or access point, and the free CQ MixPad app also gives you full control of your mix from anywhere in the venue.
CQ Apps
CQ MixPad - Remote Control Of The Mixer
CQ MixPad is a mixing surface for engineers that provides wireless, mobile control for Allen & Heath CQ digital mixers. It gives you the freedom to move around the room or stage and control the sound exactly where it's needed. Two devices running MixPad can be connected and each provides independent control.
CQ4You - Personal Monitor Mixing For Artists
CQ4You is a free personal mixing app for CQ-series mixers. It allows performers to control their own monitor mix from their Android or iOS device, so the engineer can focus on the front-of-house sound.
Recording & Playback - Capture The Performance Wherever You Are
The CQ offers multiple recording and playback options so you're always ready to capture a performance. A built-in USB audio interface enables easy multitrack recording, playback and streaming with your DAW, and an SD card slot provides reliable multitrack recording and playback on the road. You can record and play stereo files via a USB stick, and the built-in Bluetooth lets you even play from your phone.
I/O - Get Yourself Connected
The CQ-12T gives you all the connectivity you need to get started: 10 mic/line inputs, split across 5 XLR and 5 XLR/TRS combo jacks, plus a stereo input via a pair of 1/4" jack sockets.
On the output side, there's a pair of XLR outputs for the main mix and 6 jack outputs for monitor mixes—enough for the whole band!
AMM - Make Speaking Easier
With the built-in Automatic Mic Mixer (AMM) you can instantly reduce background noise and improve clarity for speech applications without lifting a finger.
AMM is available on all input channels and makes the CQ the perfect portable mixer for conferences, podcasts, debates and smaller theatre productions.
