Pioneer DJ DDJ-FLX4 DJ Controller - Return (Condition: Very Good)

DDJ-FLX4: A 2-Channel Controller With a User-Friendly Control Concept

Pioneer DJ presents the DDJ-FLX4, a versatile DJ controller for beginners and advanced users and the direct successor to the legendary DDJ-400. The Pioneer DJ DDJ-FLX4 is already enabled for rekordbox DJ performance mode and Serato DJ Lite and supports streaming services such as TIDAL, Beatport Streaming, Beatsource Streaming and SoundCloud Go+.

The layout follows club standards and the controls are arranged very intuitively so pros, intermediate users and beginners alike can find their way around. Beginners are guided by numerous DJ tutorials and two new Smart Mixing features from Pioneer, so you can get comfortable in the world of DJing quickly, even without prior experience.

Compatible With rekordbox And Serato

You can use the DJ software rekordbox or Serato DJ Lite for free by connecting your PC/Mac to the DDJ-FLX4. If you want to upgrade to Serato DJ Pro, you can purchase a license or subscription for the premium version of the software.

Multi-Device Support

Whether you want to connect to a PC, Mac, iPhone, iPad or an Android phone or tablet, the DDJ-FLX4 handles it all. Even better: when you use the controller with rekordbox for iOS/Android—as soon as the update is available in early 2023—you can connect to your device via Bluetooth® or USB. So nothing should stop you from getting started as a DJ.

User-Friendly, Portable And With A Pro Layout

The control layout of the DDJ-FLX4 makes it easy to learn DJing and is based on Pioneer’s professional DJ products: everything is simple to use and clearly arranged. The controller is also compact enough to take anywhere you want to practice or perform.

Built-In Sound Card (Audio Interface)

Thanks to a built-in sound card you can easily connect the DDJ-FLX4 directly to your speakers or amplifier via phono cable. You can also record over the USB connection using rekordbox.

Brand-New Smart Mixing Features

Not sure how to mix yet? No problem: with the Smart Fader feature you can get started immediately. It automatically adjusts volume, bass level and BPM so you can achieve clean transitions between tracks just by moving the channel faders or the crossfader. And with Smart CFX you conjure up an effects arrangement that gives the sound drama—you just turn a knob.

Selected Streaming Services Seamlessly Integrated

Rekordbox is compatible with multiple streaming services. You can choose from millions of tracks available on TIDAL, Beatport Streaming, Beatsource Streaming and SoundCloud Go+ (subscriptions required) and mix them on the DDJ-FLX4. You can also use all effects and performance features to spice up your favorite tracks and craft your own sound.

USB Audio Output For Microphone Signal

If you like to MC or sing over your sets, the DDJ-FLX4 makes it easy by mixing your microphone audio for you. You can connect the controller to a device and hear your mix together with the microphone sound as long as no Bluetooth® device is connected. That also makes the DDJ-FLX4 an ideal choice if you want to live-stream your sets, since you can do everything from a single device.

Performance Pads

The performance pads control essential functions in the software. On the DDJ-FLX4 there are 8 pads per function that can be used for Hot Cues, Pad FX, Beat Jump, Samples, Keyboard, Loops and pitch-shifting options. That way you can creatively alter, extend or transform special passages in the music.

Jogwheels

Jogwheels are, alongside the mixer and effect functions, the most important control element of a DJ controller. The DDJ-FLX4 jogwheels are ergonomically designed, provide a pleasing feel and simulate what a DJ would do with, for example, vinyl or CDs to find the correct playback position in a track and play the song from that position.

Smart CFX / Smart Fader

With "Smart CFX" users can stamp each song with their own character simply by turning a knob to apply an arrangement of effects that gives the sound a distinctive touch. The "Smart Fader" option enables tempo matching of two tracks when moving a channel fader or the crossfader and handles the removal of overlapping frequencies.
