The DDJ-FLX2 DJ Controller Makes Getting Into DJing Fun - Right From Your Smartphone!

The DDJ-FLX2 is a user-friendly controller that’s perfect for anyone starting out in DJing. After installing one of the compatible DJ apps on a smartphone, tablet or computer and connecting it to the DDJ-FLX2, DJs can seamlessly mix tracks and apply exciting effects—easily and like the pros. You can even start DJing using compatible streaming services such as Apple Music via Algoriddim’s djay app.

The DDJ-FLX2 is ideal for a variety of DJs, including those building a reputation for energetic party sets, expressing themselves creatively, or simply mixing with friends.

Compatibility With Multiple DJ Apps and Streaming Services

The DDJ-FLX2 works with a range of DJ apps, including rekordbox and djay. After DJs install their preferred app on a mobile device, they can connect to the controller and start mixing right away. If they want to learn more advanced techniques, they can use DJ software on their PC/Mac, including Serato DJ Lite. Each DJ app supports different streaming services. For example, if you use djay, you can access Apple Music, which offers over 100 million tracks to choose from.

Smart CFX and Smart Fader

The DDJ-FLX2’s Smart CFX and Smart Fader features make it easy to reproduce the seamless song blends used by professional DJs. With Smart CFX, DJs can recreate complex and dynamic effect techniques used by pros with a simple twist of the knob. The function can be used to link tracks and make performances more dynamic by accentuating the music at any time. Smart Fader automatically optimizes control of volume, BPM and bass—everything needed when transitioning between tracks—and the DJ only needs to move the crossfader in one direction. This feature lets DJs mix tracks from different genres effortlessly, even when they have very different tempos (BPM).

Lightweight, Compact Controller With User-Friendly Features

The DDJ-FLX2 is AlphaTheta’s lightest and most compact DJ controller. It’s USB bus powered, so no external power supply is required when connected via USB Type-C to a PC/Mac or a mobile device. Audio can be played through the built-in speakers of a PC/Mac/mobile device, or speakers can be connected to the DDJ-FLX2’s audio outputs.

Performance Pads for Professional DJing

The DDJ-FLX2’s performance pads make it easy to manipulate music. With the pad mode selector, DJs can switch between different modes, including Hot Cue mode, where points in a track can be marked—e.g., the intro or chorus—like bookmarks that let the DJ jump to that point instantly. Pad FX lets you apply various effects by simply pressing the pads. And the sampler lets DJs add sound effects or try performance techniques like finger drumming.
