The costs then put the price of the guitar into perspective. Hence the return.
Good and fast service from the Kirstein team!

What I particularly like about these guitars are the necks. Compared to many other guitars in this price range (and often far beyond), the necks of these guitars are impeccably finished. The frets are cleanly dressed and there are no sharp edges. The varnish is well-dosed (not too thick) and does not stick - a clear plus point!
The neck curvature of both the "Tele" and the "Strat" was already adjusted to a usable level. On the blue "Strat" I corrected the string action slightly downwards (after changing the saddle), whereas on the "Tele" the action was already perfect out of the box. I have never had this "luck" with a guitar before (not even in much higher price ranges). Well done!
I give this great guitar 5 out of 5 stars. Thumbs up!

However, one thing that doesn't work (this truth is also part of it) is the bridge! No, wrong, the bridge itself is fine, even though the tremolo block is thin (similar to that of the inexpensive "F"). The problem is the riders! The width of the tabs (11mm) does NOT match the bridge or the neck width. The manufacturer has made a mistake here and it should be corrected urgently. The incorrectly installed tabs cause the parts to be shifted (or rather squeezed) in the direction of "E" from the G string onwards. The result at the end, i.e. on the thin E string, is that it runs diagonally over the rider and just misses one of the grub screws. Poor position, poor tone (the string buzzes)! Remedy: Replace all 6 saddles with 10mm saddles (original "F" saddles from the standard vintage series) and the problem is solved. You can also replace the complete bridge with the "F" Standard Vintage with 52 string spacing (10mm tabs). However, the tremolo block must then be shortened slightly (a vice, hacksaw, file for reworking and some skill will help).
To the manufacturer (Kirstein?): Please install 10mm riders here (or have them installed), then the track/position, the sound and the look will be right!
I give this great guitar 4 out of 5 stars. Thumbs up!
Final note: Since I was (and still am) so enthusiastic about the guitar, I also bought the Tele in "Antique Burst" from this series. Here, too, I have to say HUT AB! Sounds good, sits very well in the hand (not too heavy) and looks great! I'll leave a review on the corresponding article in a few days.
