Ibanez AZS2200-BK Black - Return (Condition: Very Good)

Ibanez AZS2200-BK AZS Prestige Electric Guitar in Black including Case!

With the vision to build a guitar that serves every genre and a wide range of players, the AZ series was perfected in close collaboration with artists from around the world. Thanks to many different features and tonal possibilities, Ibanez brings to life a guitar with the popular T-shape that covers everything from A to Z.

While the new Ibanez AZS series shares much of its technology with the AZ series, the look is even more modern. The oval C-shaped neck was carried over from the beloved original and is especially valued for its ergonomic, fast playability. The Ibanez AZS series offers various tremolo and hardtail designs that use a metal mounting plate for the bridge pickup. This helps produce the fat, clear tone that delivers pronounced twang. The series is already known for that.

The Ibanez Prestige AZS2200 combines the optimized playability and tonal traits of the sought-after AZ models with a classic guitar design to create an instrument perfectly tailored to modern playing techniques and the tonal expectations of contemporary fusion styles.

While the classically styled alder body features the Super-All-Access neck joint, the bolt-on neck made from S-TECH WOOD roasted maple sits comfortably in the hand. An SH pickup setup with a Seymour Duncan Magic Touch-mini humbucker at the neck and an Alnico II Pro Custom single coil at the bridge, together with the flexible dyna-MIX5 switching, provides a wide palette of guitar sounds at the amp, from "twangy" cleans to creamy overdrive. Rounding out the Prestige AZS2200 are a Gotoh T1802 2-point tremolo and stable Gotoh Magnum Lock tuners.
