Ibanez AZ2204NJA-TS Prestige AZN Electric Guitar in Tobacco Sunburst!
The AZ series from Ibanez has earned a permanent place in the guitar universe thanks to its extraordinary versatility. Its tonal range spans warm blues licks to high-energy shred and heavy metal riffs. The series represents typical Ibanez innovations and player-friendly details, including a smooth, oval neck, a well-balanced asymmetrical body, and a neck joint that enables outstanding playability.
The so-called Prestige line from Ibanez is built on three core principles: precision, performance and playability. Here, state-of-the-art production technology meets traditional Japanese craftsmanship, resulting in instruments that set benchmarks in design and construction. Musicians from around the world actively contribute ideas and suggestions to the development process of this series.
The AZ2204NJA model is equipped with an Oval C S-TECH WOOD roasted maple neck, a rosewood fretboard with a compound radius (228 mm to 305 mm), and a 4 mm-thick Japanese ash top on an alder body. The sound is provided by Seymour Duncan Fortuna H-S-S pickups in combination with the dyna-MIX9 switching system including the Alter Switch. The package is rounded off by a top-mounted Gotoh T1702B tremolo that is intentionally non-recessed.
