Versatile Semi-Hollow for Expression and Dynamics!
The AS series was designed to give you maximum tonal flexibility and to support you in almost any musical context - from jazz to rock, blues to fusion.
Classic Construction With Modern Performance
The semi-hollow body with a central sustain block delivers a balanced blend of resonance and control. Because the pickups are mounted directly to the center block, unwanted feedback is reduced while sustain is enhanced. This build gives you a precise, well-defined tone even at higher volumes.
Characterful Pickups
The installed Super 58 humbuckers have stood for decades for warm, clearly articulated tone with excellent dynamics. They respond sensitively to your playing and deliver both smooth jazz tones and punchy leads. Their versatility makes them an ideal choice for a wide range of styles.
High-Quality Materials for Playing Comfort
The multi-piece neck provides stability and a comfortable playing feel. Combined with the ebony fingerboard you get a direct response and precise control over your technique. The ergonomic neck profile supports you whether you're comping chords or tearing through fast solos.
Reliable Hardware
The ART-1 bridge and Quik Change III tailpiece combo ensures stable tuning and easy string changes. High-quality tuners additionally provide precise tuning and long-term reliability for everyday use and on stage.
Discover versatile tone and playing comfort at a new level!

The only conspicuous features
- The toggle switch is mechanically quite loud. This is of course design-related, he sits in the vibrating part of the ceiling.
The sound characteristic changes over the positions more strongly than I am used to it from other guitars - both solidbody and full acoustic. The sustain also decreases more in the upper registers than I am used to from other instruments. In the lower registers, however, the sustain is also really nice and long.
The change is also continuous and the same across all strings, so it seems planned. It also doesn't sound bad in any range, just different.
Therefore, it does not bother after a short initial pruning, you can use the behavior well in the game with the sound.
Beautiful instrument.
