Gibson ES-335 Ocean Blue - Return (Condition: Very Good)

Gibson ES-335 Hollowbody Electric Guitar in Ocean Blue Including Case!

The ES-335 is a model from Gibson's ES line that has excited guitarists around the world for more than six decades. Since its introduction in 1958, the Gibson ES-335 set an unmatched standard and remains one of the most popular and versatile electric guitars in the world. Whatever styles you play—from rock and blues to country and metal—the ES-335 is versatile enough to handle them all. This ES-335 is no exception and is now available in striking special colors that are sure to attract attention.

The body of the ES-335 is built from maple/poplar/maple laminates for the top, back and sides. Combined with a solid maple center block, this construction creates the remarkable sustain, warmth and resonant tone players expect from a semi-hollowbody instrument. The solid maple center block also helps control unwanted feedback that can occur with fully hollow guitars. The mahogany neck features a rounded C profile that is extremely comfortable and easy to play. It is fitted with a rosewood fretboard with a 12" radius, which makes chord playing more comfortable. The fretboard is adorned with acrylic dot inlays and fitted with 22 medium-jumbo frets. A Graph Tech nut and Vintage Deluxe tuners with keystone buttons provide stable tuning, while the nickel-plated ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge and the aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece anchor the strings at the other end, producing the excellent sustain the ES-335 is famous for.

Gibson's calibrated T-Type humbuckers in the Lead (bridge) and Rhythm (neck) positions deliver a wide palette of tones and further enhance the ES-335's extraordinary versatility. They are wired to individual volume and tone controls using 500k pots and Orange Drop capacitors and feature a three-way pickup selector switch, allowing you to use each pickup alone or blend them in any desired combination, since each pickup has its own volume control. The knobs are stylish Black Top Hats with silver reflectors. A Gibson hardshell case is also included to keep the ES-335 safe on its way to your next gig.
