As the creator of Rage Against the Machine's sound, Tom Morello has already been inducted into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame. With massive guitar riffs and unorthodox playing techniques, he revolutionized a musical genre. His completely modified "Arm the Homeless" guitar is world-famous, and he has played it for more than 35 years. With it, he expresses an incredible range of musical facets and emotions, from delicate jazz licks to majestic, powerful metal anthems, driven by active electronics and a Gotoh Double Locking Tremolo.
The slogan and smiling white hippos on the body are provocative—and that's the point. The hand-painted details on the ice-blue metallic finish make a statement, reflecting Tom's attitude toward artistic revolution. Every element of this guitar, including its hockey-stick headstock, embodies Tom Morello's unwavering dedication to music, his enthusiasm for innovation and his commitment to positive social change.
Headstock
Provocative graphics, a striking "Arm the Homeless" inscription, an iconic "hockey-stick" headstock and a flat C neck: this guitar is heavily modified, with every component reflecting Morello's long-standing evolution aimed at breaking boundaries and achieving maximum versatility.
Fingerboard
The flat 15" rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets plays beautifully smoothly and makes precise fretting easier.
Pickups
A powerful combination. The EMG H single-coil and EMG 85 pickups deliver crystal-clear tone with an aggressive high-output character.
