Fender Custom Shop 1963 Stratocaster NOS RW Shell Pink - Return (Condition: Very Good)

Fender Custom Shop 60s Stratocaster NOS!

This Fender Custom Shop 60s Stratocaster NOS combines classic Stratocaster construction with high-quality Custom Shop components. The alder body, a bolt-on AAA flame maple neck and a round-laminated AAA rosewood fingerboard form the resonant foundation for the typical Stratocaster tone. Three hand-wound Custom Shop single-coil pickups deliver precise highs, transparent mids and defined lows.

Body and Finish

The body is made from selected alder and follows the classic 60s Stratocaster shape. The thin NOS nitro finish in Shell Pink allows the wood to resonate freely and at the same time provides an authentic vintage look.

Neck and Playability

The bolt-on AAA flame maple neck features a comfortable 60s-style Oval C profile. The AAA rosewood fingerboard is executed as a round-laminated construction and has a 9.5" radius. 21 frets, white Micarta dot inlays as well as a bone nut with a 41.91 mm width ensure precise playability and stable string guidance.

Custom Shop Electronics

The pickup configuration consists of a hand-wound '65 Stratocaster single coil at the neck, a hand-wound Fat 60s single coil RWRP in the middle position and a hand-wound Texas Special single coil at the bridge. The system is controlled via a 5-way lever switch with 1 x volume and 2 x tone controls.

Vintage Hardware

The hardware is finished in chrome/nickel. An American Vintage Synchronized Tremolo provides authentic vibrato effects, while vintage tuners ensure precise and stable tuning.
