Fender AV II 65 STRAT RW SNB American Vintage II 1965 Stratocaster in Sonic Blue including Updated Deluxe Vintage Black case! The Fender American Vintage II series is a remarkably faithful recreation of the revolutionary designs that changed the course of music history. With period-correct bodies, necks and hardware, top-tier finishes and carefully tuned, year-specific pickups, each instrument captures the essence of authentic Fender craftsmanship and tone.
Experience the sound and spirit of 1965 with the American Vintage II 1965 Stratocaster. In the midst of one of the most electrifying decades in music, the 1965 Stratocaster was on its way to becoming rock's quintessential electric guitar. The 1965 Stratocaster is a perfect example of a Strat in a transitional year and features a 1965 "C"-shaped maple neck, this time with a round-laminated rosewood fingerboard and larger pearloid dot inlays. Other authentic features include a white 11-hole, 3-ply pickguard, the very cool transition logo with larger lettering, and a set of amazing "Gray Bottom" Pure Vintage 1965 pickups.
