Fender American Professional Classic Hotshot Telecaster Faded Sherwood Green Metallic - Return (Condition: Very Good)

Telecaster Tradition With Expanded SSS Concept!

The Fender American Professional Classic Hotshot Telecaster blends the unmistakable Telecaster concept with an unusually versatile three-pickup configuration. Coastline single coils, a classically built alder body and the Modern "C" neck combine to create an electric guitar that pairs traditional Fender construction features with professional-oriented appointments.

Three Single Coils for an Expanded Tonal Palette

The defining detail of the Hotshot Telecaster is its SSS setup. Coastline '63 Telecaster single coils sit at the neck and bridge, while Fender uses a Coastline '57 Stratocaster RWRP single coil in the middle position. The 5-way switch therefore provides the individual pickups as well as the bridge+middle and middle+neck combinations. That expands the classic Telecaster concept with additional in-between positions. Master Volume and Master Tone with the Greasebucket Tone System keep the controls clear and immediate.

Proven Woods and Modern Playability

The solid alder body forms the basis of the American Professional Classic Hotshot Telecaster. The bolt-on maple neck features a Modern "C" profile and is paired with a rosewood fingerboard. A 9.5" radius and medium-jumbo frets put the design in a contemporary playing context. The classic Fender 25.5" scale length remains intact. The satin neck finish contrasts with the glossy body finish and underlines the instrument's functional focus.

Vintage-Inspired Tele Hardware

In terms of hardware Fender stays close to Telecaster tradition. The vintage-style string-through-body bridge works with three slotted brass saddles. Fender ClassicGear staggered tuners complement the design. Nickel and chrome surfaces, knurled flat-top knobs and the 4-ply tortoiseshell pickguard add further classic accents. From the factory the guitar is strung with Fender USA 250L Nickel Plated Steel strings in gauges .009 to .042.

American Professional Classic for Stage and Studio

With the Hotshot configuration Fender expands the familiar Telecaster principle where it becomes musically most interesting: in the pickup selection. The combination of two Telecaster pickups and a middle Stratocaster pickup offers more switching possibilities without giving up the clear control layout of a classic Fender electric guitar. This model targets players who appreciate Telecaster construction and aesthetics but also want access to additional pickup combinations. The included Deluxe Gigbag makes protected transport to rehearsals, the studio or the stage easier.
