The Charvel Pro-Mod San Dimas Style 1 HH FR is a guitar ruthlessly designed for high-speed licks and juicy tones—perfect for fans of tasteful shredding. The graphite-reinforced "Speed Neck" and Floyd Rose locking tremolo provide ideal conditions for effortless execution of advanced lead techniques, while the Seymour Duncan humbuckers deliver commanding rock and metal tones.
As a classic Super Strat, the Pro-Mod San Dimas Style 1 HH FR combines a proven design with optimized handling for nimble fingers. The alder body, thanks to the traditionally generous shaping, sits comfortably against the player, while the graphite-reinforced maple neck with its "Speed Neck" profile and a compound radius that flattens toward the higher frets promises excellent playability all the way up the maple fretboard.
Pickup duties on the Pro-Mod San Dimas Style 1 HH FR are handled by two Seymour Duncan USA humbuckers, direct-mounted to the body wood. The Seymour Duncan '59 humbucker in the neck position provides traditional vintage-voiced tones for singing overdrive and warm cleans, while the highly powerful Seymour Duncan JB Trembucker at the bridge delivers relentless distortion sounds with well-measured bite in the mids and highs that cut through the mix and present every note with razor-sharp definition. The push/pull volume control offers a coil-split option for transparent single-coil tones, and the No-Load tone pot promises an especially direct tonal picture when the tone control is not in use.
