Charvel Guthrie Govan Signature MJ San Dimas SD24 CM Three-Tone Sunburst - Return (Condition: Very Good)

Charvel MJ SRS GUTHRIE GOVAN SIG. SD24 - 3T BRST Guthrie Govan Signature MJ San Dimas SD24 CM Electric Guitar in Three-Tone Sunburst with Lightweight Case!

As a nod to the late '80s, when Charvel guitars were built exclusively in Japan, Charvel proudly presents the brand-new Guthrie Govan Signature MJ San Dimas SD24 CM. This exquisite MJ signature model blends Charvel's unrivaled heritage in crafting high-performance instruments with a selection of Govan's preferred top-end features.

This 25.5" scale guitar features a San Dimas basswood body with an ash top and a specially contoured neck heel (no neck plate), which improves access to the upper frets. The bolt-on maple neck has been heat- and drying-treated to give it a more aged sound and feel, and it includes graphite reinforcement, a satin neck back and an easily accessible truss-rod adjustment wheel. Unusually for a San Dimas model, the fretboard is caramelized maple with a 12"-16" compound radius and 24 jumbo stainless steel frets, plus crème dot inlays and Luminlay side-dots.

Other premium features include three specially wound Charvel Custom pickups arranged in a versatile HSH configuration with a five-way switch for the wide tonal range and dynamic response Govan demands, plus a two-way mini-toggle to activate single-coil simulation in the bridge and neck humbucker positions. The instrument also sports two numbered Luminlay dome knobs for volume and tone, a recessed Charvel Locking Tremolo Bridge with a pop-in tremolo arm and brass block, Gotoh die-cast locking tuners and a Graph Tech TUSQ XL nut.

The Guthrie Govan Signature MJ San Dimas SD24 CM comes in an impressive Three-Tone Sunburst finish, complete with chrome hardware, brown pickup bobbins and a licensed Fender Stratocaster headstock.
