The Victoria earns her royal title. The combination of solid spruce top and resonant acacia back and sides gives this instrument a lively, full sound that truly feels regal. The ebony fretboard, strung with Japanese fluorocarbon strings, is crowned by a stunning headstock. With all its high-end attributes and striking features, Princess Victoria offers everything an advanced player could wish for.
Victoria EQ-A In Detail
Spruce is the brightest of the tonewoods, while acacia is known for being richer and warmer. Together they create a heavenly playing experience. The acacia back softens the pronounced brightness of the high-grade, solid spruce and gives it a rounder tone.
The African mahogany neck provides stability, warm tone and a smooth playing feel. The fretboard is made of ebony. A modern and stylish cutaway lets you play as high as you want without affecting the tone as much as traditional cutaways.
The ebony armrest was designed to give your playing arm a smooth surface to rest on. That makes this ukulele as comfortable as a Victorian sofa, while looking as modern as a Flight ukulele should.
Double Active Pickup System
In mid-2020 Flight switched to using active Double Active C1U pickups in the Victoria. The controls for the active pickup are mounted below the soundhole, so no side cavity on the ukulele is required for the pickup. Most importantly, they sound great!
