BeachBuddy: The Cult Little Pal For Your Next Beach Holiday!
With the BeachBuddy, the folks at Classic Cantabile have pulled a ukulele out of their hat that not only sounds great but looks great too! Because it's made of plastic, this uke is built for outdoor use. It quite literally stands up to wind and weather with ease.
Fun Guaranteed
The BeachBuddy uke is made from robust PVC. Compared with traditional wooden instruments, it offers longer-lasting tuning stability. It also resists rain and water, making the ukulele perfect for your next inflatable-boat trip. If the body ever gets dirty from sand, ice cream or lemonade after a beach party, it can simply be wiped clean with a cloth or rinsed under running water.
Full Sound
Despite the plastic body, the ukulele doesn't have to hide sonically behind wooden instruments. The tone is punchy and assertive, and it holds its own even against higher-priced instruments.
Iconic Design
The designers also aimed to create top holiday vibes and good cheer. The ukulele is available in six designs, from "simple" to "poppily wild". By the way: Neil Young is said to have discovered his love of music on a plastic ukulele.
