BeachBuddy: Iconic Little Buddy for Your Next Beach Vacation!
With the BeachBuddy the guys at Classic Cantabile have pulled a ukulele out of the hat that not only sounds great but looks the part too! Thanks to its plastic construction the uke is made for outdoor use. It literally stands up to wind and weather with ease.
Fun Guaranteed
The BeachBuddy uke is made from durable ABS plastic. Compared with traditional wooden instruments it offers longer-lasting tuning stability. It likewise resists rain and water, so the ukulele is perfect for your next dinghy outing. If the body ever gets dirty from sand, ice cream or lemonade after the last beach party, you can simply wipe it clean with a cloth or rinse it under running water.
Rich Tone
Despite its plastic body the Hawaiian guitar doesn't have to hide sonically behind wooden instruments. The sound is punchy and present, standing up to instruments in higher price ranges.
Distinctive Design
The designers also worked to create maximum vacation vibes and a feel-good factor. The ukulele is available in six designs, from "simple" to "bold and poppy". By the way: Neil Young is said to have discovered his love of music on a plastic ukulele.
If that's not another good reason to get a BeachBuddy!

It's great as an outdoor uke and sounds surprisingly good. There is still a point deduction ... there is a predetermined breaking point at the top of the transition from the neck to the head. That's where mine broke - I admit after a bit of force, which probably would have hurt a wooden instrument just as much. But after I glued it, it continues to work wonderfully.
