Classic Cantabile P-38 Hook Harp 38 Strings - Returned Item (Condition: Good)

Classic Design With a Solid Column

A central element of the harp is the lathe-turned column made of beech wood, which provides high stiffness to the entire instrument and thus improves the transmission of string vibrations. With 38 strings, the harp offers a range of over 6 octaves (A to c''''). From folk music to works by classical composers, this harp already covers a wide repertoire.

The sound body made of high-quality ash radiates natural beauty and elegance. The wood not only gives the harp a warm tonal character but also a robust construction that ensures longevity and stability. The top is made of spruce, which, thanks to its pronounced resonance characteristics, delivers excellent tone and dynamic response.

Tuning

The 38 strings are tuned diatonically to E-flat major, with the red and blue strings indicating the positions of C and F. By flipping up the corresponding color-coded hooks, the harp can be quickly retuned to another key, allowing you to play flexibly with others.

For first attempts and easier understanding, C tuning is also possible. The instrument is tuned using the two tuning keys included in the delivery: the square key is used on the tuning pegs, while the hex key serves the fine tuners on the opposite side.

Versatile Applications

The harp is ideal for use in various musical genres such as folk, classical or contemporary music. Whether you play solo, perform in an ensemble or simply join other musicians: thanks to its versatile tonal palette you can express different moods and emotions with the Classic Cantabile column harp. From gentle, dreamy tones to lively, compelling sounds — the possibilities are almost endless.

Includes Carrying Bag

The softly padded bag not only offers your instrument sufficient protection from dust and scratches, the outer pocket also provides enough space for the two tuning keys and other accessories.
