The Affordable Entry Into Folk And Chamber Music: The Classic Cantabile P-38!
Immerse yourself in the enchanting world of music with the Classic Cantabile harp: an exceptional instrument with 38 strings and color-coded tuning hooks. The solid column construction delivers outstanding resonance and dynamic response.
Prepared For All Keys
A standout feature of this harp is the color-coded tuning hooks. Each string is equipped with a semitone tab which, when flipped up, raises that string's pitch by a semitone. These tuning hooks make intonating the strings easier and more precise than ever. The harp is essentially tuned to E-flat major. By using the hooks, you can quickly retune the instrument to any other key.
Whether you're an experienced player seeking fine adjustments or a beginner exploring the instrument, the colored tuning hooks give you a clear guide and allow you to tune the strings with precision.
Classic Design With Solid Column
A central element of the harp is the turned beechwood column, which provides high stiffness for the entire instrument and thus improved vibration transfer from the strings. With 38 strings the harp spans over 6 octaves (A - c''''). From folk music to works by classical composers, this harp already covers a wide range of repertoire.
The sound body made of high-quality ash radiates natural beauty and elegance. The wood not only gives the harp a warm tonal character but also ensures a robust construction for durability and stability. The top is made of spruce, which offers excellent resonance and dynamic behavior.
Tuning
The 38 strings are tuned diatonically to E-flat major, with the red and blue strings indicating the positions of C and F. By flipping the respective color-coded hooks up, the harp can quickly be retuned to another key, making it very flexible for playing with others.
For first attempts and easier orientation, a C tuning (C major) is also possible. The two tuning wrenches included in the scope of delivery are used to tune the instrument: the square tuning wrench is fitted to the tuning pegs, while the hex tuning wrench serves the fine tuners on the opposite side.
Versatile Applications
The harp is ideal for use in a variety of musical genres such as folk, classical or contemporary music. Whether you play solo, perform in an ensemble or simply join other musicians: thanks to its versatile tonal palette, the Classic Cantabile pillar harp lets you express different moods and emotions. From gentle, dreamy tones to lively, gripping sounds — the possibilities are almost endless.
Includes Carry Case
The softly padded case not only offers your instrument ample protection from dust and scratches; the outer pocket also provides plenty of room for the two tuning wrenches and other accessories.
